This morning I was up early relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea before the rest of the family woke. Cole was the first to wake up. He came and sat close to me on the couch. We snuggled for a few moments in silence, enjoying the quiet and the moment. Then he said to me, ‘Mommy, you’re my happy place.’

And my heart melted.
